i’m considering upgrading from my og minilogue to a prologue 8

i’m very happy with my minilogue and the patches i’ve been able to make with it

i really like the idea of having full size keys, multi-timbrality and on board effects

i use a reverb pedal and a chorus pedal on stage and it would be nice to just be able to change patches between songs and not also have to adjust two pedals

question 1: tuning issues

i’ve read that the prologues have tuning issues. and i’ve read that there was a firmware update to fix them. i haven’t been able to find a clear answer as to whether or not the issues were solved

question 2: sound

i understand that the prologue and minilogue are different synths. and that t he prologue has only 2-pole filter (i seem to gravitate to the 4-pole on the minilogue

the question is, if i dial in a patch that i’ve made on minilogue on the prologue will i get a reasonably similar sounding patch?

i suppose this question is best answered by trying one myself but there are none in stock near me at the moment

if it matters i’m mostly playing strings and pads
