Behringer TD-3: tuning inconsistent

Hi all,

I recently purchased a Behringer 303 clone and have been noticing frequent inconsistencies when it comes to tuning, especially between octaves.

For example, if I tune it to C1, C2 will be too sharp, A# will be too flat, etc

Is this a common occurrence with the TD-3 or Behringer products, and is there an easy fix? Or have I purchased a faulty product
