Midi controller that sends power through midi.

Hi everyone. I own a volca sample and i really like the thing,but not i want to use it fully and found out about the retrokits rk-002 midi cable. But this cable requires power to function so i would need a midi controller that can provide said power to the cable.

I was interested in the arturia keystep but i cannot find out if it would work properly without needing another thing between the midi controller and the cable.
