Compresser/EQ/Saturator channel/rack combo for your synthesizers?

I recently watched Spitfires interview with Snakes of Russa and one peice of gear they were talking about was the Overstayer Modular Channel. I loved what this channel strip was capable of and how hands on it worked but being a $3k piece of gear I couldn't justify researching it much more. My question is this; is there a channel/rack piece of gear that is more or less a budget version of this I could use with my synthesizers going into my audio interface? I've seen people mention the Art Pro models and I was curious if anyone uses one of these or if anyone would recommend something similiar.
