Periods of Expansion and Contraction

I am working towards reducing my modular down to 2 rows of 104hp after a year of adding more and more.

It occurred to me today that my Eurorack content seems to be controlled by a slow moving sine LFO. It has reached maximum voltage, and is now declining, shrinking my rackspace in the process...

Do others go through the same "more more more" followed by "less less less"?

I feel like I have now had the opportunity to learn what it is I really want to accomplish in modular, and can focus on specific functionality over abundance of options.
