What makes oscillators sound different?

Hey everyone, I was wondering why different oscillators sound different when under the same conditions. Don’t all oscillators work with the same basic design elements and build up on them? What gives them that different sound and identity? I know this question sounds stupid but I can’t wrap my head around it and I couldn’t find any meaningful results when I researched it. I’m sure there are tons of factors that go into this but I just want to know the logic behind it. Thank you all in advance!
