Can a KORG R3 sound like a MICROKORG

Hey everyone,

I'm currently hesitating between getting a KORG R3 and a MICROKORG.

I especially want to play this sort of sounds (listen here: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ifOVWXKvLrQ) that this guy is making with a MICROKORG. Do you think that these sounds could be made using a KORG R3?
