How to set the MIDI channels/CC for the Nifty Case?

Has anyone figured out if there is a way to set the MIDI channels, maybe via USB? Or are the channels fixed to 1 and 2? I also haven't figured out yet what CC is used to influence the mod output. There seems to be no info about it on their website.
