If you are one to buy software plug-ins and use them on your computer in a digital audio workstation application, may I suggest VPROM by Alyjames Lab? It is a splendid recreation of the Linn LM-1 and I am having a lovely time playing and programming it. I was also able to quite easily make kits for the DMX, DX, and Drumtrax from the original binary code data. And at 40 Euros, it's a steal!
