Synthesizer experience - Modular beginner

As the title says I have a lot of experience with synthesis in general but am pretty new to modular. I have a few semi-modular synths that I would like to get working together but I'm not exactly sure where to start.

I have a Moog Grandmother, Neutron, Hydra, Micro-Freak. Hydra and MF have CV connections so I'm guessing they can interface with modular.

I think the Neutron could definitely add some modulation options to the Grandmother.

Any tips or experience much appreciated.

Thanks
