Looking for advice on moving to modular through a Pittsburgh Modular SV-1?

Hi everyone,

I'm planning on moving my gear over to a modular / semi modular setup in the next few months and I was just hoping for some advice.

Originally I was planning to buy the Make Noise 0-Coast and pair it with the PM SV-1, however I have been wondering if it would be worth it to eurorack the SV-1 and then rather than buy a 0-coast, pick up some of the modules that are found in / derived from the 0-coast.

Basically, I just want to know if there would be any advantage to buying the modules that would make up the 0-coast over just getting one?

Sorry if this is an obvious question, I am almost completely new to eurorack and modular synths. Thanks!
