I just leased a studio....now what?

Hello all!

Sound engineer and DJ here who had a once in a lifetime opportunity fall into his lap..

My investor just leased us a music studio (The former Smart Studios in Madison WI) and I am trying to put together a list of gear that is the bare basics in order to operate a rudimentary studio/practice space.

I know this may seem like a silly question and make you question why we rented the studio...but the thing is my investor rented it for EDM production and DJ practice/events using my PA system, but I want to extend our scope out to live music since I feel like it will help us make the rent easier.

So what equipment should I be looking at? Hit me with a shopping list all!
