Ableton cv tools latency

Anyone know how to solve this issue? I’m trying to send drum patterns from ableton into my modular using cv tools and the outputs of the expert sleepers Es-9, I’ve used track delay but that’s not doing anything, I tested using a midi to cv module(Umidi) using the gate output and still having a latency issue, adjusting the MIDI to cv modules latency in ableton isn’t doing anything it’s only affecting the clock to the module which is in sync with ableton but not the gate or trigger outputs, I’ve tested my other gear like synths to see if they respond to abletons gate and it works just fine.. everything in my setup MIDI clock wise is working fine, but when I want to send something from ableton to my modular using cv tools or MIDI to cv, it’s always out of sync, I’ve literally tried everything I can think of.. also I should mention that everything in my modular is being clocked via intellijel umidi and my sequencer with a MIDI input jack..
