Interesting and Unusual VST Synths?

I saw a post a few days ago where somebody brought up the Sugar Bytes Obscurium and Synplant. I had never heard of either and they really fascinated me. What are some other unique VST synths that might have flown under my radar? Unusual effect plugins would also be of interest.
