Digitech SDrum pedal

Any thoughts on the Digitech SDrum pedal?

How easy is it to quickly get a beat going? Could a synth/keys be used to input the rhythms or would I have to stick to using the pads? How do the beats/kits sound?

I'm looking at picking one up along with their looper pedal (that can be sync'd) and hooking those up to my Reface CP (along with a couple other pedals). The idea would be to put together a set-up to do solo Trip-Hop/Lo-Fi jams. I'm excited about this idea in my head but no idea how it'll actually work out.
