Hi ! I'm looking for my first hardware synth to add to my current virtual Ableton setup. I don't really want to do weird bloopy sounds with it, I'm more into mellow / melodic sounds, and sometimes even ambient stuff. So far I've seen amazing things done with the Mother-32 (RemixSample's sounds are incredible), and I haven't seen that much music like that with the Minibrute 2.
The Minibrute 2s has a awesome sequencer though. It also seems that it has a lot more possibilities to offer. Being able to create melodies "on the fly" and having some quick jams here and there is also something I'm looking for.
Unfortunately, I live in a small town in France and music stores here don't have any of the synths I'm looking for, so I can't test them before buying. YouTube is my best friend at the moment haha. What should I get for Christmas ? I'm really stuck here :3 Thank you for reading !
