We all have a holy grail synth. Maybe you already own it, or maybe you hope to own it someday. Either way, what is it and why?
For me, it's the Roland System 700. I've never been more excited about a modular synth than by the idea of a Roland system that would be completely reliable, have everything I'd ever need onboard, and look so damn slick the whole way through. Of course, only 40 or so were ever made.
