Zoom R8 multitrack sampler information! Is it worth it??

Hi!!

I am an amateur beat maker and looking to upgrade my setup. The Zoom R8 seems like a great tool and looks fun to use. I am planning on selling my Volca Sample and replacing it with an actual sampler. How has the R8 worked as a sampler?? I would also sell my midi interface if i were to buy this as well and it would be great for portability and recording. My setup would then consist of turntable—-+instruments——>Zoom R8——>Daw. Would the sampling capabilities of the zoom sampletrak or ES-1 be way more helpful and beneficial. Please lmk your thoughts/experiences!!
