Selling on Reverb?

So I went on Reverb to see the second hand market, because I am thinking of selling one of my synths. However, the prices I see on Reverb are pretty much identical to the ones for brand new gear from Thomann?

How does that make any sense, and why would anyone use Reverb in that case? And yes, Im talking about “used”, not “brand new”. Im located in Bulgaria and looking at listings from Europe.

I would be thankful if someone could explain to me what’s going on, and maybe suggest alternatives.
