Can i input to the neutron?

So I am still waiting for my neutron to get here but I was wondering..

Since its semi-modular and works in a eurorack setup, could i get a a more complex function generator (like MATHS) and use it as a signal source while using the rest of the "modules" in the neutron to modulate the sound?

Im pretty sure i CAN but i just wanted to confirm. I also think that if I do this i will have truly started the trip down the rabbit hole.
