MPC One vs TR8S - sound design and drum shaping?

I have been jamming with my TR8S for a year or so now and I love it, but I am looking to step up my ease of workload with an MPC One.

Do you think that if the MPC was loaded with all of the classic roland sounds, the ease/quality of sound shaping and editing could match that of the TR8S?
