Much TCA talk about the FM-1000. A deeply obscure special tube--one of the earliest types intended to be an FM detector. Data is almost impossible to find. Here's an article from a 1951 textbook. The 6BN6 was mentioned right after it and made it obsolete very quickly--and the 6BN6 was made obsolete by germanium diode ratio detectors.
