JX-3P coming in today with a sequencer issue

I picked up a Roland JX3P last week and is coming in today, was wondering if anybody has any idea on how hard it is to fix? The sequencer only plays the first 2 steps apparently, stops after that. Theres a few dead keys and a scratchy volume pot which i'm not too concerned about. The sequencer was the only thing that really worried me.
