Roland Gaia usb/arp sync issue

Hej there. Recently got the Roland Gaia and have struggles to set it up via usb sync. I want to use my daw as the master clock so the patches comply in eg delay times but for some reason the arpeggio won’t work in this mode. what sync issue am I missing?
