Weird tempo changes between patterns in TD 3

So I literally just got my hands on a TD-3 AM and I’ve ran into what seems to be a problem.

I programmed two patterns, one goes (G3, E3, D3, C3) and the other one goes (C4,A4,G3,F3)

The second one seems to be running at twice the tempo of the first one, even though I’ve programmed everything except for the melody in the exact same way and did not mess with the tempo knob.

Has anyone ever come across something like this? Am i doing something wrong?

Thanks in advance

(Edit) I’ve just measured and the first one is at 77 bpm and the second one is at 100
