What are peoples’ approaches to playing live? I’m trying to work out the best way to perform my tracks.
They’re all made in Ableton and I have a small modular effects rack. I did plan to split stems and have the leads go through the modular (so they can be messed up and played with) while the bass and percussion remains unchanged. I also have a sample drum and wondered if it would be better to export my leads to that and keep the stuff coming from Ableton out of the modular effects rack.
Not sure if this is a good approach? Keen to know how other people do it!
