Spring Reverb on Moog Grandmother!

So I bought a grandmother today and think it’s amazing! The only issue I’m having is with the spring reverb. Even if I turn it up slightly, it begins a rattling noise that grows pretty darn loud. Is there an easy solution to this or might it be a loose part or something?? Thanks!
