Microkorg - Performance Edit question

Hi all

I have a Microkorg, and noticed something reasonably annoying, for which I was hoping there is a workaround.

I like to initialise patches and make new ones from scratch, but it seems that as soon as I go back to performance edit mode, the EG Attack and Release dials link both the Amp and the Filter attack and release, so as soon as I turn one of them, any difference between them is now lost.... this is at best infuriating! I've been reading the manual, but can't see anything about disabling one of them, apart from when in vocoder mode... Does anyone know anything about this, or can it simply not be done?
