My first synth?

Hello there gentlemen and gentlewoman

I want to pick up a new hobby and synths have been on my bucket list for quite a while now.

So I‘m wondering what you‘d recommend to a curious guy who loves Acid Techno, Psy/Trance, Goa, Indie Rock and basically anything thats strange

I want to use the synth to play around and explore my creative side, as my job is very structured without much play involved.

I‘m aware that I‘ll probably need multiple „boxes“ to really get the experience, so I‘m also happy to here what you think would fit together with the first synth. (Maybe a step sequencer?)
