td3 tips / elektron model samples suggestions?

I've only got a td3 at the moment and my model samples is coming, but i dont know how to string patterns together. I know how to do it on the device but i dont have any musical ability so i was wondering if anyone could guide me to the right videos. I was also wondering if anyone has seen any videos on using vocal samples on the model samples. i wanna make some cool house music with some vocals spliced in but i havent been able to find any youtube videos on it.
