I went into the store with a monolouge in mind. I got to test it and wanted hook up a reverb pedal to it. They did but it sounded like feedback problems.
Anyway I started to glance at the MiniXD and thought if I am going to bump, I might as well put the wavestate at the table.
The XD gave instant rewards. The Wavestate was comfusing so it was a hard pass for me.
Went home and looked into wavestate and realised its a great synth if you spend time with it. Most videos out there on the wavestate are dreamy pads. But I assume it depends on the player. Because for me pads are just pads.
My queetion is. What can the analog XD do that the digital Wavestate cant? Is it just the sound of the analog that is diffrent.
Is it more of a hassle to achive fairly the same thing. Because wavestate has small wave snippets that ...to me sound like analog waves.
What I am leaning in to is too buy the wavestate. But I realy have buyers anxiety over this.
