Can I use something like this as a MIDI controller?

I'm looking for something that can produce sounds on its own and also be hooked up to use as a MIDI controller. Is it possible with this? If not, are there hardware like that?

Side question since I've only ever used pure MIDI controllers. Is there usually a way to route the audio out from hardware to my computer or do I need to record them through a mic?
