Question About My First Synth.

Hi! Ive been playing piano for the last two years, a producer for 2.5 and i want to buy my first serious synth. I wanted to know what are the advantages that a hardware analog synth like a minilouge xd will have over say, omnisphere 2?

I do intend on playing it live, but once every while so that isnt a problem, mostly for studio work and production.
