Clouds vs. Monsoon

Hey all, working on getting into modular, and I decided to start with a Clouds unit as my first module. I love the functionality as an effect unit for my synths or guitars, and certainly could continue to use it as I acquire more modules.

My question is, does anyone here have experience with the Monsoon? I understand it's a Clouds clone in a small size with more patchable parameters? Do you recommend it if so?

I live really close to the Michigan Synth Works guy, and I really like the price point of his Monsoon. Thanks!
