ideal behringer neutron external audio processing set up

https://www.reddit.com/r/synthesizers/comments/bzhxgg/behringer_neutron_external_audio_input/eque3ga/

here I see the ATT ins can be used to bring external audio into the mixer

I'm thinking of using a mixer to send different channels in and am wondering if I can keep signal paths separate? IE channel 1 goes into delay in channel 2 gets the filter.

The oscillators and LFO can provide modulation in this case? Can E-gates receive signal so I can use envelopes as well?
