buffered mult for sync?

Sorry for the noob question: do I need a buffered mult for sync?

I'm sending from a Polybrute (playing a sequence), passive multed to a drum machine and a keystep's sequencer playing another synth, and not getting a very tight sync, regardless of the selected clock division on each device.
