Unused Gear: When do you decide to part ways? Assets or wasted space?

Clearly the answer is very subjective and will differ between person, but I really feel torn about some of the gear in my modest collection that goes unused and find myself constantly rationalizing why I should hang onto it... telling myself that I'll get around to using it again (even though I don't) or theorizing that it will totally increase in value one day.

Where do you draw the line, /r/synthesizers?
