MI Plaits - model and trig help

On Plaits, is there a way to control what happens when both model and trig inputs are patched? I’ve tried finding tutorials but most of what I see are people demonstrating the sounds of the module and not much more. But I love hooking Plaits up to Pam’s, for example, and seeing what happens when model and trig are patched. But if I’m specifically going for a kick snare hat pattern, is there a way to sequence that on purpose? Thank you.
