Is it insane to buy the Moog Matriarch as my only hardware synth?

I only use my guitar, a computer with VSTs like Serum, u-he Diva, etc..., a pressure sensitive drum pad, and my literal one octave computer keyboard with no velocity or aftertouch, and I'm somewhat proud of the music I make, but it lacks a certain nuance in the electronic side of things, the sound is there but the expression isn't.

I fell in love with the Matriarch as soon as I heard it on some nice Klipsch speakers. I can get it for $1,850 new too once it ships.

Should I go for it, or wait to see what DSI or Yamaha might pull out of their sleeves?

I'm also interested in the ASM Hydrasynth but I think that's more of a luxury than a bare bones necessity due to my reliance on Serum (I absolutely love what I've seen of the Hydra tho).

Cheers.
