Low Price Tier hardware for ambient?

I dont have a terrific computer and its easier for me, financially, to acquire a lower priced hardware synth than to get a decent computer for something like Arturia Plugins, VST reverbs etc etc

I would love something that would help me get going in the direction of artists like Smackos (Danny Wolfers/Legowelt) or something akin to that style of ambient. This would mean I need something strong in the pad department.

Basically the budget is 350 or less. I am not against older/vintage options but would love to get something that I can grow with.

Options Ive considered are: -Microfreak -Behringer Neutron -Reface DX

I feel as if Digital will be a big up here for patch managements
