Script for Morphagene files?

Hi there, I recently wrote myself a simple bash script to help convert wav files in groups of 32 to the proper naming convention to be used on the morphagene. mg1,mg2,mga,etc... but i'm wondering does something like this already exist? I attempted to do it with a generic file renamer but I don't see anything that can do ascending letters, just numbers.

If there is nothing then I can maybe take the time to write up something simple to accomplish this. It could have the ability to move and rename files into their own directory and if you have more than 32 files could make a new folder.

I noticed when trying to get lots of files prepped for morphagene that changing the names to these arbitrary values can become time consuming especially if you are going through many samples.

Any way just wanted to see what people's thoughts were
