How to plug a SH-01A in the mono input of my audio interface?

Today I have a 1/8 stereo jack to 1/4 mono jack like this one, but the sound is pretty low. I don't want to use a 1.8 to a stereo 1/4 as I don't have enough input in my audio interface to do left in put AND right input, so i really need to output with only one cable / input.

This video seems to say that a 1/8 stereo to a 1/4 stereo like that doesn't work either, as feeding a stereo signal to a mono input (my patch bay to my audio interface) cause phasing issue.

What cable do you recommend to plug the SH-01A to a mono input then?
