Keystep Pro pitch bend CV

[Solved] Stupid question, but I've searched for this many times in lots of places and haven't found an answer. Does pitch bend actually affect the pitch voltage output, or does it only output a separate control voltage via the "velo/mod" output? And if so, how sensitive is it (can you bend smoothly within a range of one or two semitones, or is it big/aliased)? I have a cheap MIDI keyboard and MIDI/CV converter with pitch bend that is far too sensitive to actually use, it seems to bend through an octave or more with no range control. If CV pitch bend on the KSP "just works" this will be a big selling point for me
