(Question) Roland SH-1000 VCF ADSR

Hello everyone,

I hope this is the right place for this question. I recently got an old Roland SH-1000 that needed a bit of work, cleaned the keyboard contacts, faders and pots, retuned it and did some cosmetic repairs. It feels and sounds great again :-)

What I'm not sure about is the ADSR on the filter. When only the ADSR tablet on the VCF is switched on it does not have any effect, even with the ADSR pot fully clockwise. Only with both the VCA and VCF ADSR tablets pressed, it does work as expected. Is this normal behaviour or should I look into this?

It would be great if a fellow owner could double check on his/her machine.
