Looking for Thoughts on Plankton's Spice VCF and SEM filters

I'm in the market for a SEM filter and recently discovered Plankton Electronics' Spice VCF module. Up until I had planned on getting a Doepfer A-106-5. The Spice seems to have more functionality and less hp, but there aren't a lot of demos out there.

What are your thoughts on SEM filters, any one have experience with the Spice VCF?
