I am disappointed in the Koassilator Pro, but should I consider a KP3?

A few months ago I got a Koassilator Pro off Craiglist, and while it was pretty fun right out of the box, I soon realized that the onboard sounds are pretty limited and many of the sounds are kinda cheesy quite honestly.

However, I REALLY enjoyed the looper workflow and how easy and simple that was to use, which makes me wonder if is worth it to pick up a KP3. Does it's sampling function work in a similar way to the Koassilator's loops? Is it more versatile than the Koassilator pro? Are there any glaring issues with the KP3?

Thanks y'all
