Which modules for lots of modulation in the least amount of HP?

I'm putting together a small skiff for live performance and it needs to be quite portable. So I'm looking for the most amount of modulation in the least amount of HP possible. Random, algorithmic or manual, each of these is fine and a combination would be ideal. What modules would you recommend?
