Wanting to get into analog

So I’m brand new to this whole synth thing, and analog synths has me fascinated.

But more than that I want something I can patch with wires but need some help knowing where to start.

I’ve been mainly considering the korg ms-20 and the moog mother 32, the main problem between this choice for me is the mother 32 seems a bit limited and hard to use without a keyboard but the ms-20 sounds just a little flat to me.

What would you suggest? Are there any other synths out there for a similar price I should be looking into?
