Post your First and Last Songs of the Decade

Out of nostalgia, I listened to the first song I made using synths and compared it to my most recent song. It's an interesting exercise in reflection and makes for some good communal, celebratory posting.

Morning Feast (2014) - I bought the Volca Bass, Drums and Keys on a whim, synced them, and made this tune. I was hooked on the promise of easy melodic extraction, direct from the brain and back again via ears.

Twelves (2019) - modular, ableton, Peak - it took longer to make but sounds better.

Lesson learned - move fast and dirty with a common setup to get the melody out quick. Polish it later.
