I just picked up a UAD Apollo Twin X, and there is a UAD plug-in holiday sale running until December 31st. I’m considering taking advantage of this sale, but I’m a little hesitant because I’m still learning the basics right now, and am not really sure what plugins I would use regularly going forward. That said, I’m guessing I would have to wait a bit for another sale as good as this one, so I’m curious what plugins people think are “must haves”?
I’m mainly creating synthwave/darkwave instrumentals using Ableton and and a few hardware synths (moog sub phatty, grandmother, DFAM, and Bass Station II). I also already have a basic multi effects pedal (multi stomp) and am aware that Ableton has its own plugins, so I probably could avoid buying something redundant.
Are there any plugins that I might find to be essential and should pick up now during the holiday sale?
